About us 

We are Frans and Marja Claessens and we live in the Netherlands. In December 2021 we had the opportunity to realize our dream by purchasing this beautiful villa in a fascinating and versatile area where it is bustling with activities all year round. Of course we want to enjoy it regularly, but we also offer the villa for rent.
We love to be in nature, but we also enjoy culture very much. For years we have celebrated summer holidays in different countries, but the mountain landscapes in Austria, Italy and Slovenia have stolen our hearts. In winter we enjoy wonderful walks through the snow, the clean air and the beautiful views when we go skiing or cross-country skiing.

In the summer we like to swim in the crystal clear waters of springs and lakes, cycle and walk around the same lakes and relax on a terrace with a drink to enjoy the wonderful temperature and the special people around us.
We know Italy especially well, because our daughter and her family live there and we get to know the Italians better and better with their customs and habits. We admire the Italian architecture, but also the solid Austrian architecture with the wooden elements. Our house in Seltschach is a good example of this. We are also always looking for small museums, nice churches or old crafts, but also for new flavors and we love tasting wines. After our adventures (a new adventure every day) we always come back to our comfortable house near the nice Drielandenpunt and we feel very much at home there. It is a lovely house in a beautiful location and we are very happy with it. We hope we can enjoy it ourselves for a long time to come!
